A New Name...The Greater DC Rock N Roll Flea Market & Guitar Show

Our second event was built on the success of our first event, but improved with the feedback of vendors and attendees. With the Greater DC Rock N Roll Flea Market & Guitar Show we moved into a larger space (the Gymnasium at Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale) and brought together 80 vendors and 900 attendees.

Our First Ever Rock & Roll Swap is a Major Success...

Thanks to everyone who contributed in making this a great event!

Our first Rock & Roll Swap Meet was held on Saturday, July 25th 2009 at the Town of Vienna Community Center (see slide show below). The event drew commercial vendors such as Vintage Vacuum Tube Amps, Angela Instruments, Morgan Henry Guitar Repair, Metro Guitar Service, EuroPosters and many independent sellers of gear, jewelry, memorabilia, records (vinyl), CDs, music books, artwork and instruments of all kinds.

This event demonstrated the strong support for future rock & roll flea market events within the Greater Washington DC area. We received unanimous positive support and requests for future events. Therefore, planning is underway for a bigger and better future events to build on the momentum and lessons learned.
